2008 SCHEDULED CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS We have only just begun!
I can't imagine that there isn't something you will enjoy on our class schedule and you will see it grow and maybe even change as the year progresses. It is a great way to getaway with a a friend and make new friendships. Our 2nd Story facility is perfect as we have a kitchen and can make these sessions special or you can just bring a bag lunch. We are anxious to hear from you our registration is open. Liberty Bouquet Punchneedle Tuesday June 17th Linda Lautenschlager is your instructor 10-3 at the 2nd Story For all of you that have been waiting for a Punchneedle class this is it! Linda is the designer of this pattern and a great teacher. We will warn you this is addicting and the patterns, fibers, and finishing make this a wonderful new addiction. You will also love how easy it is to pick up and take with you where ever you go.

Wool Appliqué Vine Garden Tuesday July 1st and August 5th Time 10- 3 at our 2nd Story

feel like there is no way you could possibly do wool Applique, you
have admired it and it is really easy once you learn the technique.
You will learn to lay it all out, how to put on tongues, absolutely

Bed layering "Best Dressed Beds" Suzanne Unbehaun will be your instructor Wednesday May 28th 10-3 at the 2nd Story Have fun learning how to make duvet covers, pillowcases with cording, Euro pillows with flanges and dress your bed. This is going to be a fun class, we will end up doing this class in 2 sessions so the first session we will pick out our duvet cover fabric or fabrics depending on if you would like to have a different back and make a very neat Flag pillow case or even Euro pillow with our neat Moda flag bunting. The class fee will be $10.00 and the cost of the flag pillow cases and Euros will be posted as we get them figured out. Instruction sheets will be required.

Handwork Sewing Basket Suzanne Unbehaun is your instructor 10 - 3 / 2nd Story Tuesday May 13th, this is subject to change as no one has expressed interest but call if you are interested and we will have chosen a new later date Make a great looking basket liner from a 10 quart plastic pail you can get in any hardware store. We have put together several color choices. The liner has wonderful pockets to keep all of your handwork sewing items close at hand. The kit and pattern are required and we used great Civil War fabrics in browns and tans . The kit sells for $36.00 and the pattern is $7.50. We will get you a visual very soon. Class Fee $10.00
