Happy Earth Day.

This is a special day for me as it was the day I welcomed our daughter Sara into our world.  Boy I never thought our world would look like this 44 years later.

Red Rock Sunrise Quilt and new Game Fowl Print

Red Rock Sunrise Quilt and New game Fowl Print

Game Fowl Prints

We are truly going through some unthinkable times.  I hope you are all getting through this.

We are trying to live in faith and not fear and it is hard.

So today I will provide you with a couple new quilts and some new new decor in hopes it will make you smile.  I absolutely love the new Game Fowl prints we have.  They sell for $71.25 per print and Barb’s quilt known as Red Rock Sunrise just absolutely complimented these prints.  Great Spring addition to the nests, wreaths, baskets and topiary’s.

Stacy Nash Animal Cracker Henrietta

Since we are on the subject of chickens don’t forget Stacy’s animal cracker “Henrietta”.  What fun she would be to make up.

Next I will show you two new quilts to think about from Country Threads newest book known as “A Country’s Call”.  The Civil War Quilt patterns are so inspiring and the stories of the unsung heroines make this so real.  Just thin of the unsung hero and heroines battling the war we are in today.  First quilt I am showing is called ” Soldiers All Around”.  This is not a big quilt, our Barb has used some of Janet Clare’s Ebb and Flow nautical prints and it turned out fabulous.  A quilt for our brave soldiers today.  I couldn’t resist showing you our new wooden whale  he seemed to fit so swell with this great quilt.

The next quilt is called “Daughters of the Regiment” and I say it’s a happy quilt for our Daughters, the heroines fighting their own war saving so many lives today.

Daughter’s of the Regiment Quilt

This kit is $73.00 and again you do need the book.

Beekman 1802

The last picture today is advertising our great Beekman 1802 products.  No one needs them more than they do today.  My hands are a mess, and my nails will never be the same.  So I have gone to using Beekman to get some respectful looking hands back.  The cuticle and hand cream are wonderful as every other product.  Thinking out loud, what a great gift for Mother’s Day and we have wonderful gift packages.  Give it a try, we have customers using the soap and having the best skin results they have ever had.

Seize your stitching moments and let us try and help guide your fingers through the turmoil.  This is one of our new word designs and it really is speaking to us all today.

Samplers Notforgotten “English Garden”

Did any of you ever anticipate or imagine the situation we are all in today?  At almost 71 years, as of next month, I have never thought about a pandemic in the USA.  Crazy, unexpected times for sure and when we look outside, see the sun, hear the birds, see the spring flowers rising up it becomes even more serial.

We are lucky enough at the shop to be able to take care of online orders and phone calls.  This brings me to the matter of some of our company’s are not working so if we are totally out of some supplies please trust us to make the best decision on substitution.  You know I do this everyday with models I have stitched in the shop so we will never take this lightly.  It has to be pleasing to me. So with that said let’s talk Springtime at 133. I don’t want you to miss the beautiful quilts and stitchery we have in the vignettes through out the shop.  I hope this serves as a light and makes your day and serves as an opportunity to occupy the hours that lay ahead of us as we all are confined to home.

New French garden from Samplers Notforgotten

This is one of our new models called “English Garden”.  The model you see is on 32 count but our kits are made up on 36 count.  We even have the designers next pattern called “French Garden”.  This is equally as beautiful and I think will be a companion you will want to stitch as well.  It’s comforting to work on such amazing needlework.

Fire-Fly Garden quilt, Worn & Loved II Quilt

This beautiful quilt is “Fire Fly Garden and it just sings out Spring on our wall.  The quilt measures 67″ x 85″ and the cost is $128.00.  patterns are $9.00.  The topiares flanking on each side and our rabbits showing up everywhere completes this vignette.  It is calming and happy and the quilt kits can all be ordered on line, you could start sewing immediately.  The beautiful topper is “Worn & Loved II” it uses my Legacy fabrics and kitted sells for $58.50.  Our white dough bowls are perfect for Easter filled with grass and eggs or any other spring idea and come in three sizes.

The real touch white tulips are blooming for us, the  black iron rabbit is stunning and on point to the North, the old bee hive signals the coming of Spring, a small coffee bean topiary adds interest, and the antique egg holders are mirroring in this fine mirror that also shows off  our great vintage wall lighting.  You can even see one of the old corbels.

Happily Ever After Quilt

So if you are home and wanting to bring in some signs of Spring this might be something that will freshen and brighten your days.

Emilie Pitcher and Linen towel

In this next vignette we are showing “Happily Ever After” on the table.  This is undoubtedly one of my very favorite quilts.  It measures 75″ x 83″ and the kit is available for $122.00.  Please take note of one of my favorite pitchers. It is called the Emilie Pitcher and  is priced at $65.00. This is a beauty that is so farmhouse friendly and it even has a metal handle.    On the left I have tied our new linen towel by Needlework Press onto the handle. The towel sells for $14.00.  What a great spring gift to send to a friend.

You can also see in the picture on your right some pretty cute bunny cracker or deviled egg dishes.  These retail for $19.95.  Everything is setting on the
